Support & Services

Support shaped around your child.

We are starting with five areas of support. Each begins with a conversation, and we confirm what is suitable and available for your child before anything is arranged.

Start with what you are noticing.

Each area below includes a short example. If one sounds familiar, that is a good place to begin.

Core subjects

The foundations many families ask about first.

Mathematics

Lessons shaped around what your child can already do, so new ideas build on firm ground.

For example A child who follows the method in class, then loses confidence when the numbers change.

English

Lessons shaped around where your child is now and what they are working towards.

For example A child who reads aloud well but finds it hard to put their own ideas into writing.

Alongside schoolwork

Homework Support

We guide your child to understand and complete their own work. The work stays theirs; we help them see how to approach it.

For example Working through the first question together, then letting your child lead the next one.

Testing Support

Tell us which test your child is preparing for. We will confirm whether suitable help is available before anything is arranged.

For example A child who knows the material but freezes under timed conditions.

Language and culture, together

Heritage Languages & Culture

Yoruba Igbo Hausa

For children who hear a language at home, or who are growing up away from it. We teach the language together with the culture that gives it meaning. This is separate from our English support.

For example A child who understands Igbo at home but always answers in English.

Tell us which language and where your child is starting from. We will confirm whether suitable support is available before anything is arranged.

How lessons work.

Every area is taught the same way: one-to-one, online, and planned with your family.

See our approach
  1. One-to-one, from home. Your child learns in individual lessons online, so there is no travel and the attention stays on them.
  2. We listen first. You tell us what you are seeing at home and at school, and we confirm what is suitable and available for your child.
  3. We find the starting point. An assessment, with a possible tutor taking part, shows us where your child is now.
  4. We agree the plan together. We explain what we saw and agree the learning plan and schedule with you before lessons begin.

Not sure which fits?

Start with a conversation. Tell us what you are seeing, and we will help you find a sensible starting point. These are our first areas of support, with room to grow; suitability and availability are always confirmed in conversation with your family.

Looking for something not listed here? Tell us in your inquiry. The form has space for anything else you would like us to know, and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
